Convenience and accessibility are major factors in what we choose to eat. What you put into your body is the most important component to your health, including your overall energy, mental health, and physical appearance.

Cado & Co is a fast-casual restaurant on a mission to create a healthier community and promote optimal health by making organic, plant-based foods more accessible.

visual identity

Inspired by fresh ingredients and alkaline foods from herbalist Dr. Sebi’s African Bio Mineral Balance, the brand colors derive from the pH food spectrum. The all natural, wellness driven tone of the brand is shown through detailed illustrations which are incorporated throughout Cado & Co’s menu, packaging, and environmental design.

process

Exhibited at the Fox Gallery for the 2018 MICA Grad Show, Cado & Co's grand opening introduced the metropolitan area to a pHresh and delicious food spot that promotes a disease free body.

Designing the illustrations on screen and hand painting them in the exhibition space created gave me an even deeper connection with the project. The process of screen printing to go bags allowed me to extend the brand voice a step further.
